How the Commission works

Resolutions regarding the Commission’s main activities are passed at plenary sessions that are generally held once every three months.

The Commission uses the following as guidelines:

●    Constitution of the International Chamber of Commerce - World Business Organization (ICC)

●    Provision on the Commission on Arbitration of the Russian national committee of the International Chamber of Commerce - the World Business Organization (ICC Russia)

●    Work plans approved at the plenary sessions

A Committee for nominating arbitrators is formed within the Commission.

The Commission sets up the Expert Council. Guidelines for its formation and procedures are defined in the Provision on Expert Council of the Commision on International Arbitration of the Russian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce - the World Business Organizaion (ICC Russia).

The Commission stays in communication with ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR and participates in arbitration-related events and projects organized by ICC.
